Our bar, a 1967 French Citroën H van has been lovingly restored and professionally converted into a unique high spec mobile bar.
We offer a full bar service (including a range of fabulous cocktails) and pride ourselves on partnering with award winning local producers to bring a unique range of drinks to your event.

Here at The Maverick Bar Company, we think the French have always had a flair for food and drink, as well as automobile design and the Citroën H van is an icon of French culture and style.
Franc our bar is a 1967 Citroën H van originally from the Burgundy region of France. We imagine in his previous life he zipped around la route (the lanes) from vineyard to vineyard.
Unlike other bars that need to be towed or transported to your venue, we drive up, stock up, hatch up and are ready to serve your guests a fabulous range of drinks.
Our Citroën H van has been converted into a unique high specification, fully functioning mobile bar.
On-board we have two gas lines which allow draft products to be served, a fridge, an ice machine, ice well and speed rails. This means that our fully trained cocktail mixologists can serve a choice of high-quality drinks at speed from a menu developed in partnership with you.
We don’t stock a range of standard drinks that anyone can pick up from the cash and carry. We work with award-winning producers to deliver a unique range of on-trend drinks.
You’ve heard about Franc the Citroën, what about us?
We are Corrine and Simon, Corrine a marketeer and innovator in the drinks industry and Simon a qualified accountant from the hospitality and leisure industry.
After 25 years inventing new ideas for drinks brands, a light bulb moment came in the summer of 2018 when at the races. The bar experience and the choice of drinks on offer was poor. We wondered if it would be possible to bring the very best bar experience and a choice of fabulous drinks to outdoor events.
